Factual Information questions
常用提问方式：
· According to the paragraph,which of the following is true of X?
· The author's description of X mentions which of the following?

一、解题思路：
1、为考证文章是如何对题目进行阐述的，考生也许需要再一次阅读文章。因为这类问题考查的是文章细节，所以考生在第一次阅读中可能会记不住这些信息。
2、将与文中信息相矛盾的选项直接排除。
3、不要因为某个选项在文章中曾被提及，就将其作为正确选项。考生所选择的答案必须是针对题目进行的回答。

Negative Factual Information questions
常用提问方式：
· According to the passage,which of the following is NOT true of X?
· The author's description of X mentions all of the following EXCEPT.
二、解题思路
1、通常情况下，否定事实信息类问题比事实信息类问题要求考生回顾更多的原文信息。三个在原文中曾被提及的选项可能分布在一个段落或几个段落当中。
2、否定事实信息类问题的正确选项要么直接与原文中的一处或多处信息相矛盾，要么在原文中没有被提及。
3、解答完否定事实信息类问题后，考生要检查自己的答案，以确保自己精确理解了题目要求。

Inference questions
常用提问方式：
· Which of the following can be inferred about X?
· The author of the passage implies that X...
· Which of the following can be inferred from paragraph 1 about X?
三、解题思路
1、首先要确定所选择的答案与文章的主要观点不矛盾。
2、不要仅仅因为一个选项看上去是重要的或是正确的，就将其作为正确答案。正确答案一定是能从文章中推论出来的。
3、作出选择后，考生应能够明确指出相关信息在原文中出现的位置，从而印证自己的答案是正确的。

Rhetorical Purpose questions
常用提问方式：
· The author discusses X in paragraph 2 in order to...
· Why does the author mention X?
· The author uses X as an example of...
四、解题思路
1、首先要知道一些经常用来描述各种修辞目的的单词或词组的具体含义：“definition”，“example”，“to illustrate”，“to explain”,“to contrast",“to refute”,“to note”,“to criticize”,“function of”。
2、修辞目的类问题通常不会考查整篇阅读文章的结构，而是常常关注句子或段落之间的逻辑联系。
