帮朋友出谋划策
Personally, I would like to suggest my friend to sign up for a cooking class. For one thing, she can get some professional guidance in such classes. I enrolled in a cooking class last summer vacation just for fun. But I ended up acquiring a lot of useful cooking skills thanks to the professional teachers who employed some scientific methods. I was taught which kitchen tool or technique to use for each step of food preparation, how to make the perfect rice and so on. For another, working close together in a class will enable her to meet a bunch of people who share the love for cooking and make some lasting friends.
刷过机经的同学们一定会发现托福口语Task 1中帮盆友出谋划策的题目不少见，比如你的朋友要去参加 job interview (20150307)，要study at another university (20151128), 或者是想要cultivate some personal interests (20160227)，这个时候需要你给出suggestion。
拿到这类话题的时候大家可能会出现两个问题：
一是没思路，这个话题很少出现在你的生活中，你自己都不熟悉，就更别提出谋划策了，因此导致“无话可说”;
二是说“废话”，所谓的废话就是在detail部分不断地重复自己的意见，一个suggestion颠来倒去用好几句话说同样的事。
这两个问题都是独立口语的大忌，因此我以刚刚过去的9月8日的Task 1为例，帮助大家拿下建议类话题。
Your friend wants to learn how to cook. What suggestion would you like to give to this friend and why?
首先，看到话题是关于cook的，很多不下厨房或是从未准备过这方面话题的小伙伴们千万不要慌，没有学过烹饪，其他的东西总是学过的吧。我们可以回想学习类话题下学习方法的相关解题思路，就会发现这个题目其实非常简单。学习方法有哪些呢?
study in a group/ ask help from others/ study online/attend classes
惊不惊喜?意不意外?这些我们在课上拓展过的思路都是可以用在这道题的，这里给大家列出一些可以参考的思路：
1. To ask help from parents/friends (parents are the best teachers/patient/experienced)
2. To sign up for a cooking class (professional guidance/ immediate feedback/ expand circle of friends)
3. To learn cooking online (flexible/ easy access to resources/ repetitive reviews at your convenience)
有了思路之后我们来解决第二个问题，如何避免说“废话”呢?其实很简单，最有效的解决办法就是举个栗子啦~举例子最好的方式就是讲故事，而在建议类话题最好的办法就是“现身说法”，讲一个亲身经历的事情或是经验来告诉你的朋友为什么要这样做。讲故事是避免45秒一直在重复同样的观点最好的方法，有了故事就有情节，内容自然就会丰富起来，小伙伴们get到了吗?
