Nevertheless, with tons of addictive information, the Internet alsodistracts a lot of students from learning, which negatively affects their performance at school.

Yes, I think it’s true that many people waste time online. The Internet is a mix of useful anddamaging information. Quite a lot of people fail to resist addictive information online that ends upwasting their time and ruining their future. Violent video games and pornography are two verytypical examples. I think it’s up to the government and parents to figure out how to protect peoplefrom addictive information online.
