今天的线下托福考试独立写作出新题啦！话题是考研/工作选择相关，相信大部分同学都对这个问题曾经有过相关思考；独立口语则是大家在学生时代都要经历的体测（physical fitness exam），可见ETS现在出题的角度还是非常贴合托福考生的人生经历和日常生活的。不过话题可以代入自身并不意味着就能轻松给出高分答案，尤其是这种有条件设定的题目，对很多同学来说，能正确审题就已经是一大挑战。

本题的出现，再次印证了托福考试不再常考诸如要不要有part-time job这样的“简单话题”，题干中对于考生将要面临的选择做出了十分具体的规定——目标是深造，选项则只有全职上班同时学习和全职学习两种，并没有working part-time这个选择，因此，子睿建议大家在破题的时候，着重去想“深造或者拿跟高学历的目的”究竟是什么，以及full-time job对于further education的促进都有哪些。总之，这是一道情境十分小众的题目，有一定的难度，希望大家借由此题，能多少体会到ETS目前命题的趋势。

- Becoming a full-time student would require me to pause my career, and there is no guarantee that I will find a new job after completing my further education.
- Working full-time presents me with unique challenges and experiences that school cannot offer, which gives me opportunities to apply my new knowledge and skills in reality soon after I learn them.- Education is never cheap, but working full-time enables me to not worry about finances like many other full-time students do.
