新版考试出现后，GMATer们最关心的问题就是我的目标分数会有什么变化吗？新旧两版分数如何换算呢？
对此，官方给出的回答是不看分数看百分位数，比如旧版的700对应的是89%percentile，对标新版的645；旧版的760对应的是99%percentile，对标新版的705。改革之后，咱们的目标就是645啦，有木有感觉更容易实现啦？！醒醒吧，错觉错觉，首先新版考试未必更容易，速度要求更高，其次水涨船高，GMAT是选拔性考试哟，你的目标是超越别人！！！

Schools expect textbooks to be a valuable source of information for students. 选择哪版考试？
官方给的建议是考试前先咨询自己的目标项目，看项目建议参加哪版考试。从实际操作看，新版考试最早也要10月份之后才能考试（一般顶尖商学院的申请也是10月份就开始了），且新版考试中Data insight科目的真题远少于其他单项的题目，不确定和不稳定性极大增加，所以对于今年申请的学员，建议参加旧版考试，早早考出成绩，在别人还没考试的时候就已经开始申请，想想就痛快！
今年申请的备考建议
第一，打好基础，背一遍GMAT词汇和数学术语，掌握看长难句的核心方法，确保自己对文本的理解精准到位，咱们要对标的是native speaker大学毕业时的阅读理解水平。需要资料的童鞋可以联系小编领取新东方独家的GMAT词汇，数学术语和长难句的资料。
第二，建立知识体系，运用高效的方法论练习。想要自学的同学（需要资料的联系小编）先看一遍OG的数学知识点，做一遍OG的数学题目，查漏补缺数学遗忘的点，同时通过做题感知GMAT数学考察的侧重点（逻辑性，全面性，结果导向性），积累常见的易错点和难点。语文部分建议同学看一下曼哈顿语法和逻辑Bible，学习语法和逻辑的方法论，然后做OG的题目，巩固方法论。做题中如果发现自己错题比较多，比如准确率低于70%，建议先报班学一下方法论之后再继续练习，提升备考效率，少走弯路。
第三，方法论学完后做综合练习，套题以及模考，尤其是模考，一定要多做，可以做官方送的两套免费的，也可以联系小编要新东方专属的模考。连续的12个月内只有5次考试机会，虽然不一定会用完，但是考完2次后会莫名地紧张，越考越紧张，所以最好的方案是练习充分后争取首考出分。
