GRE的写作题库上次更新还是在2021年，其实按照惯例应该是每年一更新，不过估计是疫情影响，过去的2022年没有更新过题库。不过就在前两天，GRE官宣更新了2023年的写作题库。

新题1
The following is a memo from the marketing director of Lamfonz Pet Stores, which operates thirty pet stores worldwide.
"Five years ago, our competitor Fish Emporium started advertising in Exotic Pets Monthly magazine. Their sales overall have seen a steady increase of 3-to-5 percent per year since then. In fact, the Fish Emporium store in Gulf City saw even more remarkable gains, becoming the most visited pet store in the United States last year. Meanwhile, our two Lamfonz stores in Gulf City have seen sales steadily decline during the same period. It seems clear that we should immediately begin placing our own ads in Exotic Pets Monthly and other popular pet magazines. If we do so , we will be sure to reverse this recent trend of declining sales and start making
a profit again."

The following appeared in a memo from a vice president of Alta Manufacturing.
"During the past year ，Alta Manufacturing had 30 percent more on-the-job accidents than nearby Panoply Industries, where the work shifts are one hour shorter than ours. Experts believe that a significant contributing factor in many accidents is fatigue caused by sleep deprivation among workers. Therefore, to reduce the number of on-the-job accidents at Alta, we recommend shortening each of our three work shifts by one hour. If we do this, our employees will get adequate amounts of sleep."
