雅思Part 2高频解析新题《认识的人搬新家》！
今天来给大家讲解一道Accommodation类型的雅思话题。此类雅思话题今年总共有两题，
《认识的人搬新家》
《理想之家》
既然是同一类型的，这两题在解法和细节拓展上有着共通之处。为此，《理想之家》中的部分描述内容也可以用作参照来完成《认识的人搬新家》。
Describe someone you know who has recently moved to a new place
You should say:
• Who he/she is
• What the new place looks like
• Why he/she moved to a new place
• And explain whether his or her move has a positive impact on you
今天我将详细讲解《认识的人搬新家》也给没有想法的同学提供一些思考路径。
从我学生的上课反馈来看，很多同学觉得这道题难，主要原因就是现实中没有这样一个人物存在，所以纯靠编就有点难。
但没关系，学会编造本身就是雅思口语考试中的一环。所以该怎么编呢？我们从第三小问开始思考—Why the person moved to a new place。
鉴于搬家可以是市内搬家也可以是跨市搬家，为了给出更为具体的搬家理由，我觉得你要先思考“House VS Flat”以及“Big city vs Small city”。
House vs Flat
•Location
House多数位于郊区，为此，环境好，生活压力小（节奏慢/生活成本低）；但生活不是很方便（尤其交通），机会也不是很多（学校不多、公司也不多）；
Flat多数位于市中心或靠近市中心的地方。虽然会略显吵闹，环境污染也会严重一点，但它靠近与所有的便利设施，同时，上班上学都很方便。
•Price
在大城市里，House往往价格很高，不是一般人能够承担的起的；
Flat相对价格合理，若买一个单身公寓，你除了不用背负太多的贷款外，你还可以留一些钱去做自己想做的事，比如旅行、学习等。
•Size
House面积普遍较大，为此有足够大的空间供更多的人居住，同时，每个人还能享受各自的隐私性；但大的房子往往打扫麻烦，并且没有安全感；
Flat相对会显得狭小而拥挤（cramped and narrow）,但是小的空间给人足够的安全感，同时打扫是一件方便的事。
•Neighbors
住在House里，你周围的邻居会相对有限，并且打扰程度很低。为此，可享受清静的生活；
Flat里住户较多，也为此会变得相对吵闹，并会产生纷争，但有邻居也是有好处的。至少你们可以相互照顾，你也不会觉得孤单。
•Potential problems/risks
此点主要针对flat。Flat会有较多的安全隐患，比如电梯、火灾、或者有自然灾害带来的损害等。
Big City VS Small City
•Convenience
大城市的优势之一，交通方便，娱乐设施齐全。
•Opportunity
大城市的另一个优势，主要体现在工作机会多和教育资源集聚。
•Stress-free
小城市的优势之一，慢的生活节奏，低的物价。
•Comfort
小城市的另一个优势，环境好，人口少，安静不拥堵。
明确这两者后，我们便可产生很多可能性的搬家理由：
1.从小房子搬向大房子，可能是因为人口变多，或者为了追求舒适且隐私的空间；从大房子搬向小房子，可能是因为小房子的安全感以及打扫方便；
2.从市中心搬去郊区，可能是无法忍受嘈杂和污染；从郊区搬去市中心，可能是无法忍受长距离的通勤；
3.从别墅搬向公寓，可能是因为破产，住不起别墅；从公寓搬向别墅，可能是因为生意兴旺赚了很多钱；
4.从一个房子搬向另一个，也可能是跟前邻居产生了矛盾或者没有电梯生活过于不便，亦或者存在安全隐患；
5.从小城市搬向大城市，可能是因为追求更好的教育资源、工作机会或者为了获得更便利更丰富多彩的生活；从大城市搬向小城市，可能是追求慢的生活节奏，或者好的无污染的环境，亦或者追求更为安静、不被打扰的生活。
有了搬家理由之后，我们便可选择一个然后按照小问题来编完一整个故事。此次，我也给大家准备了三个故事仅供参考：
Example one：中年创业失败人士，为降低生活成本，每天跨城市上班；
Example two：退休教师回到家乡，享受悠闲的退休时光；
Example three：独立女性，独自搬家至新公司附近。
01，Who the person is
第一问的拓展有很多方向，可以从地点着手，介绍其新家的“Location”，包括“绝对位置”、“相对位置”以及“怎么过去”。
比如：
Recently,my best friend,Nina just moved to a new place.Her flat is in the city center,close to all the amenities便利设施.Even though her new home is a bit far from me,It close toher workplace,so she doesn’t need to spend too much time commuting.
当然，你肯定也可以从“人的角度”着手来给出一定的细节，比如：Occupation/personality/education background/how you know the person等。
Example one：
此处通过性格的转折来铺垫搬家的原因，“虽然有抱负，但是不够幸运”。
I have a neighbour called Jack,an ambitious middle-aged man,but he was very unlucky.He had set up his own photography studio in Shanghai with several like-minded friends,however,it went bankrupt破产due to the pandemic.In order to pay the debt,he had to sell his house and then decided to move to my city.
Example two：
此处通过职业的变化来说明搬家的原因，“从受人敬仰的老师到退休回乡养老”
A person that comes to mind is my math teacher who used to teach me in high school.He is one of the most respected teachers in the school and is thought highly of高度赞扬by parents and students.After working for over 5 decades,he finally retired and moved back to his hometown with his wife last week.
Example three：
此处通过介绍两人熟知过程来带出搬家的故事。
A person that comes to mind is my friend,Daisy.We have known each other for 3 years and she was the first person who I met when I went to university.She was so welcoming and helped me get set up.We soon became best friends and were like two peas in a pod关系很好.Even though now we are both in two different cities,we always keep in touch online and share our news and any gossip.Last week,she just told me that she had rented a new flat in Shanghai.
What the new place looks like
房子的描述主要在于Appearance这个角度，它包括：“size/color/decoration/shape/material/style”。此处我会重点强调前三点。
•从“Size”着手的话，你可以通过房间数量（尤其卧室数量）来说明家的大小，而这个家到底有多大，也可以通过确定房间大小的上限或者下限来说明。比如，他家很大，有3层楼，每一层楼都有3-4个房间，最小的房间都比我的房间大好几倍，且都有独立卫生间、走入式衣帽间，这充分保证了每个人的隐私性。
•从“Color”着手的话,你可先将颜色分为亮色和暗色系。鉴于每一类色系给人不一样的感觉，你可以进一步说明此颜色给你带来的positive或者negative的感受。
•从“Decoration”着手的话，它可以包括家具、电器、灯饰、植物、装饰物等。
若提到电器，你可以说你的家不需要现代化的生活设备，因为你更追求质朴的生活；你也可以说你的家需要有各种各样现代化的生活设备，因为你想要有更加方便智能的生活。如果你想要从高科技层面着手进行阐述的话，你可以注意到高科技的东西无非涵盖两个点：1.具备语音识别系统；2.可以用手机连接。
若提到家具，我更建议你从“second-hand”着手。“二手家具”能体现出一个人的节俭，也可以是生活的拮据；它也可以体现出一个人的环保。
Example one：
He rented a small flat which is a bit cramped and narrow拥挤且狭小的.It only has one bedroom,but it’s cosy and brings him a sense of security.（大小）
Now he is seeking a simple life,so he doesn't have much furniture or home appliances.You can only see a small refrigerator and sofa in his living room.He bought them all second-hand as he wanted to use recycled items and save money.（家具/家电）
Example two:
To be honest,from the picture,you can see the house has seen better days破旧.The colour is fading and the ivy爬山虎clings to the wall,so he decided to redecorate it by himself.（颜色/植物）Even though it needs work,I still think his house is a warm place to live.
It has three floors and each floor has a big balcony.He is a keen gardener擅长园艺so I know he will work his green fingers擅长园艺and make it beautiful.（大小）
Example three:
She sent me pictures and videos of her new place.Actually,it’s a small,narrow flat but it looks cosy and warm.Even though it’s a bit cramped and cluttered拥挤且杂乱无章的,she said that it gives her a great sense of security.I told her she just needs to tidy up and get some storage solutions.（大小）
She is tech savvy精通科技的,so she made her small place a smart home.She showed me how she controls all her home appliances with her phone and how easy it makes her life.（家电）
Why he/she moved to a new place
这道题的重点就是文章最开始提到，此处我为这三个故事选择了三个不同的搬家理由。
Example one:
从上海搬去另一个城市，是因为低的物价可以缓解破产带来的经济压力。
Actually,at first,I wondered why he didn’t rent a flat in Shanghai.Why would he move to my city which has fewer job opportunities?He explained it was because my city has low living costs低的物价and isn’t far from Shanghai,so it’s easy for him to work there and commute daily.Now he gets up at the crack of dawn早起and takes the high-speed train and returns at night.Even though it is gruelling使人精疲力尽的,he feels this is the best solution.
Example two:
从大城市搬回老家，是因为厌倦了大城市快节奏的生活，同时他也无法忍受大城市嘈杂且被污染的生活环境。
Actually,he had planned to move back a decade ago,as he was tired of city life.His hometown is a small village tucked away隐匿in the mountains,so it’s the perfect place for him to escape the hustle and bustle繁忙.
At the same time,he can slow down and enjoy a laid-back悠闲的lifestyle away from the hundreds of schoolchildren.What’s more,he wanted to be back in nature.He couldn’t tolerate无法忍受the loud noises and terrible pollution in the city any more.Now he can take in fresh air and enjoy the blue sky every day.
Example three:
搬家是因为换工作。为了缓解通勤压力，搬家可以让她少花时间在路上。
Actually, she decided to move because of her new job. It was really far from her old place. It was torture for her to get up at the crack of dawn早起 and commute. Even though her new flat is twice as expensive, it’s right next to her workplace. Because of this, it only takes about 10 mins for her to get to work each day.
Whether his/her move has a positive impact on you
此处，你的感受可以是“Positive”，也可以是“Negative”，同时也可以“No impact”。
就像我的一个学生她设计的答案就是“朋友搬回老家去工作，这件事情虽然她无法苟同，觉得年轻人更应该在大城市奋斗，但看到她的朋友逐渐出现的笑容，以及更加丰富的生活日常，这可能也是她做的正确的决定。”
Example one:
故事一为创业失败的故事，但其不畏失败，积极寻求解决问题的途径也是让人很动容。
To be honest,his story inspired me a lot and I am impressed by his persistence.I learnt that no matter how hard life is,it’s crucial to keep a positive attitude and have the courage to face all obstacles that come your way.Actually,failure is inevitable.How we deal with it is the most important factor.Only in this way can we have a promising future.You have to make the most of a situation and keep going.
Example two:
故事二为告老还乡的故事，虽然他的搬家对我没有任何影响，但他现在的生活方式还是吸引到了我，让我觉得农村不比城市差。
Even though his move hasn’t had a direct impact on me,I am inspired by his lifestyle choice.As a city girl,I feel so stressed by the fast pace of life.I rush around the city and I am swamped with忙碌studies.I never have any time to stop and enjoy the moment.Living in the countryside is very appealing and something I will strive for in the future.
Example three:
故事三为朋友为工作搬家的故事，我被她的独立性所深深吸引，因为她从找房子到搬家以及整理，统统自己完成，没有让任何一个人帮忙。
I was so happy for her as I knew how miserable she was commuting day in and day out. I was also really impressed because she is such an independent person. She told me that she dealt with everything by herself, including finding the flat, packing all her stuff and moving. She may look tiny and timid, but she is a very strong-willed 意志坚强的woman.
