托福学术讨论题目为：
small groups in classes 对 very young student (5-8岁的）好，还是对 older students ( teenagers ）好
C：对大孩儿不好，他们一组队就光顾着聊天和玩儿；小孩听话，能跟上老师，可以组个队
K：不同意，对大孩儿挺好，可以 motivate ；举了个自己上课 group 的例子
这道题目是一道新题，但是话题还是很常规的，是关于“一对多”的，所以“一对多”里面的思路均可以使用。但是不一样的地方是这里不仅要找到小组有什么好处，还要想出来这个好处是对于小孩子更多，还是大一点孩子更多。

如果选择小孩子：
更有利于培养合作能力（大孩子晚了，小孩子更好）
更有利于培养交流能力（大孩子晚了，小孩子更好）
更有利于培养友谊（小孩子还不懂利用其他方式培养友谊，大孩子培养友谊的方式多，小组合作就不重要了）
如果选择大孩子：
更有利于互相学习（年纪太小，会的东西少，所以没有太多可以学习的）
更有利于培养合作能力（因为太小了不了解）
更有利于培养交流能力（因为太小了不了解）
更有利于互相帮助（年纪太小，会的东西少，所以没办法互相帮助）

From my perspective, it is a better idea to ask young students to form small groups and learn. This is because this can be a great way for them to learn to cooperate with others. Granted, small groups may also enable older children to learn cooperation, but they may be too old to really learn to value cooperation. For instance, if older children who have never worked in small groups before are required to complete a presentation with other group members, they may be lost about what they should do. They may either leave all the jobs to other members or have to do all the tasks, which is surely not good for their future. In contrast, if they had the experience of working in small groups when they were younger, they would have known how to divide the jobs among all the members according to their own strengths and everybody would contribute great effort. Therefore, it is more important to ask young students to form small groups
