Come clean 坦白承认，说出一切

• 例句：He couldn't keep the lie going any longer, so he had to come clean about eating the cookies.
• 他不能再继续撒谎了，所以不得不坦白交代偷吃饼干的事情。

Carbon copy 非常相似，一模一样

• 例句：Her room is a carbon copy of the hotel room we stayed in last year.
• 她的房间跟去年我们住的旅馆房间一模一样。

Burning question 十万火急的问题，通常指人们热烈讨论的问题

• 例句：It's a burning question for me to decide whether or not to continue the current lease.
