PART1 ：中秋节用英语怎么说

中秋节的英文是 Moon Festival ，或者也可以说 Mid-Autumn Festival 。

这二个英文单词分别点出中秋节是个与“月亮”相关的节日，时间大约在秋季中期，如果要说明中秋节是哪一天，可以用以下的句子：

例句：The Moon Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar. 

中秋节是农历 8 月 15 日。

例句：The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated with family and friends. 

中秋节是一个传统的中国节日，人们会和家人朋友一起庆祝。

PART 2 ：用英文介绍中秋传说

如果要跟外国友人介绍中秋节，那绝对少不了介绍各中秋节相关的传说故事和人物，一起来学学下面这些表达吧：

After Houyi saved the world from the ten suns, the Queen Mother of the West rewarded him with an immortality elixir. 

后羿拯救世界于十日之灾后，西王母赏赐给他长生不老药。

However, when Houyi was away, Chang'e consumed the elixir and ascended to the Moon to escape Feng Meng.

然而，当后羿不在时，嫦娥偷服了仙药，飞升至月宫，以躲避逄蒙的追杀。

The Jade Rabbit is constantly pounding an elixir of immortality in a mortar, according to Chinese mythology.在中国神话里，玉兔不停地持杵捣药，以制成长生不老药。
Wu Gang is eternally cutting down a laurel tree on the Moon as punishment for his crimes.吴刚被惩罚在月亮上日复一日地挥斧砍伐月桂。

吃月饼：月饼是中秋节期间吃的传统食品。它是一种圆形的糕点，里面有各种馅料，通常象征着满月。

Admire the Moon: The full moon is a central theme of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Families gather together to admire the moon and share stories.

赏月： 赏月是中秋节的核心活动，家人聚在一起，仰望明月，分享故事。

Offering to the Moon Goddess: In some regions, people offer fruits, mooncakes, and other offerings to the Moon Goddess, Chang'e.

祭月： 在一些地区，人们会向月神嫦娥献上水果、月饼等供品。

Family Reunion: The festival is a time for families to come together, no matter how far apart they may be.

家庭团聚：中秋节是家人团聚的时刻，无论相隔多远，都要一家团圆。
